Surrounded by Idiots
I came across this interesting book on psychology.
I picked it up at the bookstore and got through quite a few chapters. I always wanted to jot down insights I gained but never found the time to do so. So instead, I'm settling for jotting down the 4 main "types" of people which is the entire crux of the book.
There are 4 types of people essentially.
- Red : Hard dominant people, who are curt, to the point, rude and never hesitate to call a spade to spade. They are extremely decisive.
- Blue : Careful cautious people who are perfectionists. They abide by the rules, adhere to strict disciplined systems.
- Green : Kind, helpful, supportive and generous people.
- Yellow : Boisterous, loud, opinionated, lively, convivial, all-talk-no-work, creative people.
The last page of the book provides a list of character traits for each of the colours which I found to be quite useful.
