This page is dedicated to Books. My own personal Markdown version of goodreads or Hardcover.
I love to read. I learn so many new things and through books, I get to immerse myself in situations I probably will never actually experience in "real life".
This page is dedicated to documenting the Books I a) am currently reading, b) want to read and c) have read.

Want to Read
I’m still not sure. If possible I’d really like to finish the books that I began but then put down first before touching new books.
However, I have been told by a couple of my friends to read classics like:
- 1984
- Crime and Punishment
- Moby Dick
- War and Peace
But, I don’t feel inclined to them at the moment… later someday perhaps.
Currently I’m more interested in reading books like:
- Yuval Noah Harari
- Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind
- Homo Deus
- Nexus
- So Good They Cannot Ignore You by Cal Newport
- Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott
- 101 Essays That Will Change the Way You Think by Brianna Wiest
- The Defining Decade by Meg Jay
- The Great Mental Models by Shane Parish
- The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel
- Let’s Talk Money by Monika Halan

- Such a nice book that takes the reader through the lives of several different characters. Really enjoyed the hard-hitting passages about how the different characters perceive life through their different lenses and the meaning of it all.
- While it is about a bank robber, the book is really about human relationships. I enjoyed reading the father-son dynamic between Jim and Jack, the “affair” that Estelle had via exchanging story books (this is something I do as well! (ahem, exchanging books and scribbling my thoughts in the margins— what were you thinking?)), the passages about marriage and how to make a marriage last and lastly the pages of discussions between Zara and the Psychologist- they were SO SO FUNNY xD- but seeing her personal transformation reminded me of the title of a famous book I’m yet to read as of writing this review “The Mountain is You”.
- The book kept me on the edge of my seat right until the very last page. There was always another twist waiting. And the final few pages, where everything finally pans out, are rich with references to different moments from earlier in the book, which is delightful. The best analogy I can think of is that those last few pages feel like the conductor of an orchestra, directing different instruments, here, pieces of information revealed at different points as the story progressed, to play at different times. But ultimately, when those pages are read together, they lead to a beautiful melody.
- I could go on and on writing about the book- but I highly recommend you pick this book up and read it. It’ll leave you with deep food for thought and an enriched world-view…
